Just a Quick Note

I apologize for my distinct lack of communication lately, but I have had other issues on my mind. I am scheduled to undergo laparoscopic surgery tomorrow. Without going into detail, I have always had issues with severe monthly pain and hopefully this surgery is a step on the road to recovery. I go into the hospital tomorrow at noon and I should be home by supper time. I hope it all goes smoothly.

As soon as I am feeling up to it, I will be back to blogging as I have a bunch I want to write about. I bought a serger (my first) and I have a bunch of finished garments I want to show you all. Talk to you soon.

Shannon take care of yourself. I can verify that it's very easy to think you can do it and end up doing too much. Hope this solves your issues. g

Hope your surgery goes well. Don't overdo it and you'll feel better sooner.
Thanks for posting your spreadsheet. I made one today. How long it takes me to get my whole collection posted, or if I even can is the question.

My friend had similar surgery a few years ago and says it was one of the best things she ever went in for. I hope it solves your problems, too.

Looking forward to reading and seeing the new posts!

And me to the list of people who are wishing you well tomorrow! Please check back in and let us know that all is well! Don't make me get on a plane and come check on you because you know if I have to do that I will...and some of your fabric just might go missing! :)

Seriously though my thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow!

Shannon - same issue; same surgery in November. If it's anything like my situation (and I am much, much, ahem, older and less in shape than you appear to be), you'll be up on your feet in no time. Sending healing thoughts your way.

I'll be praying for an uncomplicated surgery and a fast recovery!

I had my gallbladder yanked out a few months ago. Its not too bad at all...although I woke up from the anesthesia with a horrible case of drymouth - then the nursing staff gave me crackers...thanks.

Shannon, Take it easy after the surgery. Rest and don't worry about getting too much done in any regard. We'll be thinking of you.

I wish you a speedy recovery. I had a "lap" about 6 years ago and was glad I had it. I was back on my feet in a couple of days, but everyone is different, so just take it easy and let others take care of you.

Sending well wishes your way for a speedy recovery. Am looking forward to hearing more about your serger. I got my first one in 2001 and upgraded in 2002 which was a surprise from DH. I love it for lots of reasons. Merry Christmas and Blessings for the New Year.
