Fall/Winter Wardrobe

Over the last two months, I have been working on piecing together a fall/winter wardrobe plan. After much planning, mind changing and revisions, I have come up with two full SWAPs. Each of the two SWAPs has the full three phases. The first SWAP is based on a chocolate/teal/caramel/camel colourway and the second SWAP consists of an olive green/cinnamon/taupe/beige combination.

After much debate, I have decided the first SWAP will take precedence in my sewing line-up. I am madly in love with teal as of late, so I figured I would sew that colour until I'm sick of it! I have posted my storyboards for the three phases of the SWAP below. Now, as any woman knows, I reserve the right to change my mind as I go along, but at this point, I am content with what I have put together. I hope to make some major inroads on this plan over the next few weeks, so keep checking back.

Phase 1 - 11 garments

Phase 2 - 9 garments

Phase 3 - 7 garments

I love your plans, I see some great items there. However, looking at a list like that would terrify me. How long do you think this will take you?

Sorry, but what does LH stand for? I figured out NL for New Look but then I was stuck.

I love your choices but heck, your closet must be the size of a small country!

Wow, Shannon! I am just starting to catch up with what is going on and I am amazed by everything you have accomplished since school started and by the ideas and detail in your SWAP planning. Can't wait to watch it evolve.

What a well-thought-out plan! I share your enthusiasm for teal, and my coloring is very different from yours. It's a wonderful color that flatters many skin tones. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished pieces!

What a great plan! I love your colors, too. Can't wait to see how it all comes together. No fear that you won't get it done here. :)

I love a good plan-it all looks great and well thought out. Of course-the whole point of a plan is to ultimatley change it-its fun to keep refining an idea. I especially loved the butterscotch wool 'suit' from phase 3

You have a great organized plan underway. All three swaps would be fabulous.

lsaspacy - LH must be Loes Hinse. Shannon - Only you could plan two full swaps EACH with three full phases. My only surprise is that you're not attempting both! ;-) Happy sewing, and thanks for the inspiration! :))))

Shannon, your first SWAP group is the absolute BEST! Love it! Now, as for the 2nd and third, they don't quite look 'finished'...good colors, but...?
I love seeing your submissions to Julie's Timmel Fabrics site...you are truly inspirational! (do the kids in class get hyped, too?) Does your husband do your photography? Great presentations!
I just found your blog today, I'm off to read as much as I can!
