"Fall"ing in Love

I have had a few inquiries about Hartley lately, so I thought I'd post an update.

To say that I am madly in love with this pup doesn't quite convey exactly how I feel about him.  Everyday, he amazes, amuses and astounds me.  Last weekend we went for a walk at a local park.  The fall colours this year are wonderful, so I couldn't resist taking a few (hundred) pictures.  I have a few to share with you all:

Hartley looking bigger than life!

Hartley found a new friend at one of the local homes that borders on the park grounds.

Hartley and me, cruising along the trail.  Be sure to notice how I intentionally matched the colour of my sweatpants (and hair!) to that of the changing leaves.

Stopping for a treat and posing for a glamour shot.

The Detroit skyline from the top of a hill in the park.  Hello my American friends!

Hartley, doing what he loves - sniffing the air and chasing a stick.
Winding path down to the pond.

The oak leaves look like lace against the lovely blue sky.

The perfect finish to a perfect day!

oooo, fall leaves and a happy doggy; what else is there? Our dog (who was an Aussie) loved the fall and rolling in the leaves. Actually he also loved to roll in the snow. Perhaps he just like to roll...

What a beautiful area you live in! And your Hartley is really sooo cute. It's so great to have animal friends in your life. Sometimes they're even better than human ones.
I understand the love for your pup. It was only yesterday that I looked at my cat and just felt the love for him in my stomach, my heart and my head, all at the same time. Honestly.

I know it was a lot of trouble, but we readers appreciate the color coordinating of hair, pants, leaves. And such a cute canine pal. No wonder you are in love.

A pet is a wonderful thing! ( We have two cats). The scenery in your part of our country is as beautiful as in mine and yes, this year fall was particularly spectacular!

Beautiful. If I lived in such beauty I don't think I would ever sew just bask in the glory with my dogs

Love your beautiful photos, especially the Detroit shot, because I'm in Michigan. Now I'm trying to figure out where you are, judging from the picture. I should go outside and take a shot of Canada because "I can see Canada from my house"!
