Comments: Another outfit made from patterns I have used in the past. I made this top a couple of times before and I really enjoy wearing both versions, so when I was trying to decide on an airy, blousey top to make using this lovely cotton voile, S3887 immediately sprang to mind. I really pleased with the result - this top is cool and comfortable, but still quite chic.

The pants are my TNT Loes Hinse Hepburn pants. When I want a quick pair of flattering pants, this is the pattern to which I inevitably turn. I know that the style gurus are stating that skinnier pants will be in for fall, but I'm not sure that I can pull off a closer fit like that on my bottom half. Maybe I'll warm up to this trend but, for now, I'm sticking with what I know works for me.

Conclusion: Another easy-to-wear outfit for work. This pair of garments should help my work wardrobe transition from summer to fall nicely.

Stylish and flattering fashion are one thing, "in this year" fads are another. Skinny pants flatter only about 2% of the women who wear them. So...wear you Loes Hines pants because they are a great, classic and stylish fashionable look on you.

Perfect summer outfit again! I enjoy wearing this pattern blouse also with the tie.

I also have the blouse pattern and it sews up easily. I have a bunch of pretty cottons so I should get working. I've liked each version of those pants and think I should give Loes Hinse a try. Happy Sewing!!

Shannon, I think that these pants really suit you. I think more than the skinny leg width, the waist or higher waist is back so these pants are in. Besides what does it matter to be in? Look at how some people wore the low riders and that was certainly not in! The top is ver flattering-nice colors for you.

Shannon, what is going on here. Are you channelling my ideas? I have this pattern and about 3 metres of soft black fabric from way back when. Last night I decided to use this pattern lengthened into a dress with a belt. I love those pants too.

Really sewing up a storm aren't you? Two great additions again. Great look (and stick to the pants pattern, as long as you like them).

Cute outfit! You're getting so much accomplished. I'm jealous. I've been sewing, but not all of it can be worn to work!

Love the print, especially colors of brown with the sea blue & yellow. The outfit looks great on you.
