SWAP Pics are Up!!

Julie has posted the SWAP pictures and commentaries on her website, Timmel Fabrics. Go check out all the wonderful entries if you have a few moments to spare.

This year is bigger than ever. A grand total of 37 SWAPs have been submitted. It is amazing to see all the different fabrics, patterns and styles displayed.

A big thank you to Julie for once again taking on this contest and all the planning and work that goes along with it.

So, what's your next project? Simple or complicated? I for one, decided to make some more transitional tops to go with my swap. And a dress, and a vest, blouse, skirt... As you can see I have big plans. Whether they get done or not, we'll see.

Shannon, What a ton of sewing to look at for the SWAP. I got to thinking last night...yikes! Shannon has so many clothes that she has made in the past couple of years, how does she wear them all? I'm sure you have your favorites though. I'm mostly sewing for occasions now...and neccesity. I should throw caution to the wind and sew with abandon. Maybe this summer...

Shannon I think there are many terrific SWAPS, but yours is my absolute favourite. I am very inspired by your sewing skills and your wonderful use of colour.

THANK you so much for the link! I always forget where I've seen what. Love SWAPS but not good enough to participate. Do love to watch, though.

I am deeply humbled by your sewing kungfu... now must sew with reckless abandon to try and restore slightly flagging self esteem.

you rule, my dear.

Hi Shannon,

As always, your garments are inspirationally beautiful! You did an excellent interpretation of the Camelot era and your collection is fabulous. Good luck!
