I'm with you on making time for the important stuff in life - like getting to know the people you work with. Hope the month improves. ggMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04301526396026815132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405339236965946425.post-28531657571003458482011-01-10T04:42:18.169-05:002011-01-10T04:42:18.169-05:00It is so tragic, particularly when someone is so y...It is so tragic, particularly when someone is so young. The wife of a relative died just before Christmas. She was barely 30. Even when they are sick, it is still tragic. We really must try and cherish every day we have.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01529416439720810403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405339236965946425.post-62045285389020272062011-01-09T18:25:47.045-05:002011-01-09T18:25:47.045-05:00I am very sorry for your losses. My husband passed away January 13, 2004, when my daughter was not quite 3 years old. I STILL forget to be grateful for the loved ones I have in my life. Some lessons I'm just too stupid to learn. The painful void left when someone you're close to never goes away, it just changes, "evolves" in a way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405339236965946425.post-90793418807044126912011-01-09T17:23:39.972-05:002011-01-09T17:23:39.972-05:00I'm sorry to hear of the double-dose of bad ne...I'm sorry to hear of the double-dose of bad news. Even when it's not someone close, it can be deeply affecting to lose someone unexpectedly. Two people in my life (a co-worker and a childhood friend I was no longer in touch with) died unexpectedly in the last two years, and I was surprised at how much I thought about both of them afterward.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10674930108735903116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405339236965946425.post-42030458026028583322011-01-09T16:33:43.925-05:002011-01-09T16:33:43.925-05:00Although all deaths are hard to bear, the sudden u...Although all deaths are hard to bear, the sudden unexpected is the worse. I lost my mother like that when I was 21 and never took life for granted again. Life sends us reminders of this from time to time.
